Hello. Someone alerted me to this message so I figured I'd better respond. I work for US Fish and Wildlife Service. We do not run the leatherback turtle program. The PR Dep't of Natural and Environmental Resources is running the leatherback turtle program. They do not currently have an office in Culebra so we are trying to help them out by providing them our office space and the use of our telephone this year. 787-742-0115. If you call and leave a message on our office phone they will check the messages Mon-Fri and return your call. Please do not expect to receive a return call the same day, calls will be answered by DNER personnel when they can do so. If you reach FWS staff when you call they will ask you to please give your contact info so that DNER can call you back. Emails sent to my government email address are printed out and given to them as quickly as possible. I will go ahead this time and give them your message from this forum but cannot normally do so as I do not currently monitor this forum. I hope that this is of some help. Also, this contact method is viable for this year only. Next year they will have a different contact method to be announced later.

Cordially,
teresa_tallevast@fws.gov
