Tataki Waki,
if we do condone xenophobia (An unreasonable fear, distrust, or hatred of strangers, foreigners, or anything perceived as foreign or different.), where exactly do you draw the line between a foreigner and a Culebrense?
The last time I went to a funeral in Culebra, I looked around and I saw quite a bit of Irish and German names at the Cemetary. Lacking exact statistical data I would venture so far as to say the older the stones were, the higher the percentage of "foreigners" ...
Please, for the sake of this argument, Mr. Waki, define Culebra's cultural heritage, customs and, most interesting, principles!
Again, I ask you to refrain from personal insults. I would LOVE to have an educated discussion and discourse about this overheated subject!
And I do hope the members of this forum will forgive my lack of eloquence in the English language :)
Enjoy Culebra!
Michael
