I just came back from Culebra and the biggest problem there was finding a place that was open to eat. I can tell you first hand how terrible it feels to spend the day having fun in the sun and then not being able to eat. I originally didn't want to go to Mamacita's because of some of the negative feedback I have read here. But I was wrong. Mamacita's was the only place that was open for lunch and offered some kind of fish. Twice my husband and I went there and both times we were seated immediately, served and waited on immediately and the Dorado was great. We were very thankful for Mamacita's since that was the first time we were actually able to eat!!(we arrived on Saturday and went there for the first itme on Tuesday) The only complaint I had was on the second visit, I ordered a coffee and was given sour milk, the waitress looked at me and said sorry and left the coffee with me and even charged me for it! I learned in Culebra that is simply the way things are. I would still recommend that you give them a try, start with lunch and have the Dorado sandwich or salad it really was great.
