My wife and I can't believe someone took Khalif. We have been visiting Culebra for the last three years and will be returning again this March. Since our first visit to the island and Zoni Beach, we've been greeted by Khalif, which has been so special because we have had four golden retrievers ourselves.
It was always so much fun seeing your goldens (Emirat & Chika). We'd give them ice cubes and watch them dig in the sand for crabs. We even have some great video of the dogs digging a deep hole into the sand -- it's just impossible to not take pictures of goldens! In fact, one of our favorite pictures taken last year was a profile of Kahlif along the shore.
I wish there was something we could do. I'll be in San Juan, Fajardo, Vieques and Culebra a couple of times between now and the end of March ... I'll keep my eyes open.
