Erin,
Congrats on your wedding. My wife and I have been going to culebra for four years now and if it was me doing it I would strongly consider renting a house which gives you privacy, not that Culebra is crowded. Tamarindo will cost you juat as much and it is not nearly as nice as a house that gives you everything. Believe me the houses for rent are incredible. There is no such thing as beachfront in Culebra but you are as close as 200 yards. Tamarindo has its advantages but the beach is mostly coral and wherever you stay on Culebra there is a sandy beach nearby. Contact culebraislandrealty.com if you want to look at the rentals. Villa Boheme is the nicest hotel on the island so I would recomend that. Also if you rent a car, which is a must go through Jerry's jeeps. He is a real treat and will tell you anything you need to know. Also he is right accross from the airport. If you need I can reccomend the best houses.
