PR is warm year-round; summer 24/7/365. Hurricane season does not end until November I believe, but it's not like they're a daily thing. It is a very active season this year, though.
Even though there are mosquitoes, it's not like it's an epidemic, on you, covering every ince of your body. Nothing some citronella candles and OFF (spray or lotion) can't handle. Also avoid wearing heavily scented perfumes/lotions, which attracts them more than normal.
