Gaawd, the "thing" was so old it probably eventually fell apart. Use a golf cart. There isn't anywhere you can't go in it (we've hauled 4 of us to EVERY part of the island) for numerous years and they're easier to park. Jeeps are too big to park and environmentally, they make me shudder on that small island. Yeah, the golf cart can be slow. Who cares.
