Hi Muzaico,
I just want to say that open fire are not allowed on the campground, and the fire was not my doing, it was another camper that camped near me.
It was my first time sleeping in a hammock too, and I did it for the 2 weeks I was there. For me it was very comfortable, but a little bit chilly at night cause I was so closed to the beach, ocean waves, and lots of wind.
Having a tent would be a good idea.
Yeah, people that camped near me do walked by to get to the beach, but I don't mind, but this happened during the afternoon hours, which I am not there anyways.
