Hello,
There is a Wal-Mart in the town of Fajardo (same town to take the ferry to Culebra). At Fajardo, you can take the public bus (public taxi) for $3 to get to Wal-Mart. I think owning a bike is the most economical choice since you will be there for 6 weeks. I just got back from camping on Flamenco beach myself, I was there for only 2 weeks, so I just take a taxi or walk or ride (golf cart) with other campers that I met.
