I have to admit I have never quite understood the logic of traveling to the Caribbean, going to the beach, and then paying for shade. I'm with Cap'n, there's trees and the water if you need to cool off, and as long as you've got sunscreen and some common sense you should be OK. Besides, we all gotta die of something, and over-exposure to the sun beats a lot of other things I can think of. Going to the beach and renting an umbrella seems kinda like all the folks where we live who move out into a nice wooded area, then cut down all the trees so their place ends up looking just like a lot in town.
Congrats on your upcoming wedding, Cap'n. Hope your ferry ride to Vieques goes more smoothly than your trip to Culebra last time!
