i did not call you a jerk, i said dont be a jerk.
the distinction is important as calling you a jerk would be an all inclusive statement of who you are. and i dont know you well enough to know if that is true or not.
when i said dont be a jerk it refernced the crime and potholes comment. yes, there is crime on vieques. and unfortunately it is mostly drug related. but it is overall very safe. safer than alot of neighboring islands. crime is relatively low on vieques. and alot of the serious crime on vieques is commited by people from other islands. at least the ones that get caught are.
but thank you for the apology. and there are lots of safe places on the big island too. would you say the united states is not safe since there is crime there? lots of crime in some places and not so much in others. but its safe
certainly vieques is not as exclusive as culebra is. its only been free for 1/5 the amount of time that culebra has. so lets see what its like in 20 years. im hoping the eco tourist effect strengthens and PR recognizes its true worth and protects it.
