Hey, I'll be arriving at the campground also on Oct 9 with my girlfriend. We'll probably run into each other. How long are you staying? We'll be there 1 week. Also, I'm bringing a water-filter to hook onto the fawcet to produce drinking water. If it works, you're welcome to have filtered water.

My concern is the mosquitos, due to all the rain they've just received (over 8-inches in 3 days!). In approximately 2 weeks, all those mosquito eggs now hatching shall be ready to do their thing... ug (I hope not). Therefore, at night I would highly recommend covering as much skin as possible. You will not need anything heavy, just a real light-weight, long sleeve shirt and long pants. Feet should also be covered at this time of day. I hope I'm wrong about the mosquitos--but I think it would be a mistake not to come prepared.

Also, bring good sleeping pads or inflatable matresses, unless you enjoy sleeping on packed sand that's almost as hard as pavement. The low temperature at night should not go below 65°F, so don't bring heavy sleeping bags!

Hope to see you there!

Detlef
