Thank you so much for this information, MJ and supergarcia! Home birth is just fine with me, and I would be less concerned, actually, if I were further along in the pregnancy, but if something did happen this early it would definitely require a hospital for the baby. I was hoping to hear how women on the island have had their babies, so thank you for sharing these stories.
I am not really too worried that anything will happen, but it's good to have the number and an idea of the way things work just to be prepared! Now we can just enjoy our trip...
