My wife and I are planning a trip to Culebra for a 30 year wedding anniversary trip March 29 - April 5, 2008.
She originally was seeking an all-inclusive resort experience "for a change" since we have typically gone the "do it yourself" travel on a budget approach.
The total cost makes me wonder if we need to pay that much just to receive less in terms of diversity of sights and experiences. Since we are more attracted to remote beaches than crowds I wonder how happy she or I would be staying at a "fenced in" resort for a week.
Personally, I think accommodations, beaches and other attractions on Culebra would make a satisfying place to celebrate 30 years together.
Perhaps you can help me persuade her that attractions on Culebra would be great!
Having "roughed it" on past tropical vacations, she is expecting "better" accommodations. To make it attractive for her, the following is needed: a comfortable bigger- than-double bed, AC, clean, quiet, with kitchen would be great.
Please advise on accommodations. Through review of web sites and discussion I am looking at places with few units; Villa Boheme, Casa Ensenda, Casita Tropical, or others that are similar. Which of these is the best for quality and value?
Also, I would appreciate hearing comparison and contrast to accommodations available at Club Seabourne.
