I live in NY and have considered coming here for some time looks incredible. How is the surf and where is it best, are there are accomadations near those beaches. Seems the north side of Culebra and Culebrita should have at least some surf. I apologize if this has been asked before.
Thanks
Justin
The surf in Culebra is very average at best. I was just in Culebra over Martin Luther King weekend and the current in Flamenco was as strong as I had ever seen it. Even then the waves were maybe two or three feet which is veri minimal. If you want to trully surf Puerto Rico you need to visit the city of Rincon or Aguadilla which have worlsd class surfing during the Winter months.
