Does anyone know where to rent camping gear? Costs? Phone # to campground?

I don't think the campground has a phone number, you just show up and pay your $$. Also, I think there is a kiosk at the campground called Tent City where you can rent camping equipment, but I am not totally sure about that. Do a search on this site.
