Coming to the island for the week beginning the 14th Jan and am wondering if anyone can point me towards some flats where i can do some DIY bonefishing. I am an experienced saltwater flyfishman bringing his wife to the island to celebrate her 65th birthday(honestly, this is a birthday trip not a thinly disguised fishing trip!). And/or maybe someone knows where I can rent an old small outboard to get me to some flats? I guide in the fall in Montauk NY for stripers/blues/false albacore with my own 19' CC so I'm familiar with outboards. Or maybe someone would like to hook up and look for the grey ghosts of the flats. (marine forecasts look like it's been blowing a bit on the island, no?) thanks for your help Doug
