Hi, Jeff. The Flamenco campground is safe and constantly patrolled by the rangers and local police. Crime in Culebra is not a problem; but do not leave expensive items or money laying around (just be smart about it). Who knows what the other campers will do.

John

Camping is available at Flamenco Beach on the north shore. The daily rate per tent is $20 - 6 persons maximum. There are showers and bathrooms. Open fires are not permitted and if you want to cook you may only use gas or charcoal.

Culebra Campgrounds are government-run, for reservations contact: Autoridad de Conservación y Desarrollo de Culebra, Attn: Playa Flamenco, Apartado 217, Culebra, PR 00775. Or call the Flamenco Campground Office at 787-742-0700 or the Culebra Conservation and Development Authority at 787-742-3880
