Wouldn't it be great...
Culebra, Puerto Rico

...if there were transportation to Culebra (ferry or plane) that would allow for planes that arrive at SJU as late as 7 or 8? Ever since American Airlines abandoned its hub in St. Louis, it's virtually impossible to leave home and be in Culebra the same day, so I always end up staying a day on the big island. I'd rather be you-know-where. How about an Old San Juan- to- Culebra ferry run at 9 pm? That would allow Culebrenses with business in SJ to wrap it up, have dinner and return.

Doug,
I would look a little harder and maybe even some other airlines. There isn't any doubt in my mind that you cannot do this in one day. Chicago has a flight that arrives at 1:20 pm, on American, in San Juan and I have taken it plenty of times. Even though St Luois is not a hub you can still connect to that flight and I'm sure alot cheaper than I can get it. Good luck.

Doug,
I've been trying to make your trip work from St Louis and you're right. It's nearly impossible to get down there by 2:00pm. You can fly out of Memphis on Delta and make it by 1:40 but you have to leave at 6:00am. Looks like you're stuck. :-(

Sorry

Joel

Doug,
I just checked. You can fly from St Louis to San Juan and get there at 1:30. Hopefully you can get the last flight out on Isla Nena. You still have to go through security again to get to Isla nena. Good luck!!
