Mini storage on Culebra.

Hello all!
I emailed micheal on this forum and he suggested this thread..
My family and I are yearly visitors to the island the first of every year, we can't stand the snow in utah any longer.
Me stay three plus weeks. As we do our own cooking while we are there we have found that there are certain things that we need and are hard to find on the island, so we have been shipping boxes back and forth through the great USPS.
No complaints they have been great to us. And the two guys who work the Dewey post office are top notch!
But it's starting to get spendy if you know what I mean.
So I am proposing this;
Anyone who is a permanent resident who has an empty cistern of extra storage room who wants to earn some easy money every year open a word of mouth mini storage business.
I'm talking just a Rubbermaid tote somewhere where we could store things like fins and mosquito nets fishing poles just stuff that's a pain in the ass to get to the island every year. Who wouldn't like to earn $25-50 bucks a year just to lock up a couple of totes. Any suggestions , we will be on the island from the 23 of January till almost Valentine's Day, and would love to meet with you and discuss a possible business deal.
Thanks
Sonny

For what it's worth, I would patronize such a business.

For $25-50/year, I personally would not want to be responsible for anyone's stuff - especially in a hurricane climate .. but then again, one could cramp a lot plastic containers into a spare room (no basements in Culebra ;))

If I were business inclined though, I would put x cots into that room, put it on airbnb and charge 20/nt per cot ...

Enjoy Culebra!

Michael
