Sleeping bags only for Flamenco?
Culebra, Puerto Rico

Hi!

My wife and I are going to Culebra and I was wondering if it's possible to only use sleeping bags - no tent. Sleep under the stars...

Anyone done it? Is it safe? Is it allowed?
We're only doing this for one night, two tops.
I am mainly concerned with bugs, snakes, mosquitos, other animals, ...

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Boyan

Bad idea. Ants, scorpions, and other such nasties. The ants, although tiny, can leave little blisters. More ants = more blisters.

You might consider a hammock to keep you off the ground. However, if it rains you are in trouble.
