camping
Culebra, Puerto Rico

We're camping on Flamenco with our kids, during February vacation week (21st- March 2nd) and I'm wondering if there is an area in the campground designated for families vs. the college party group or is there a spring break group?

Area E tends to be the most quiet and tranquil. Having said that, we did have a tent of "springbreakers" in E when we were there. They disturbed us very little, but I think there was a late night skinny dipping episode one night. Area E is a good little schlep and if you have a lot of gear, you will question why you brought so much stuff.....so,keep it simple.....you won't need as much stuff as you think.

Culebra is not necessarily a spring break destination, but you will probably have some breakers around, but nothing like Cancun. You will find you have plenty of space to put between yourselves and the breakers.

Peace out
Herb

http://flamencobeachcampground.com/map.htm
this website has a layout and description of the areas of the campground.
Area E is more of a "quiet" area probably intended for adults who are there to just relax and I know when I was there that is where I stayed and it was quiet, didnt really seem like a "family" area. Area A seems to be the family area and what you are probably looking for. : ) Have a great time, i cant wait to go back : )
