Isla Grande to Culebra 3/10/11
Culebra, Puerto Rico

Looking for folks to share a Air Flamenco charter to Culebra on 3/10/11...our
flight from Boston gets in to San Juan at 1:00 pm...so anytime after 2:00 pm
would be fine with us. I think you need 8-10 people to make it worthwhile.
We are two! What a bummer to find out that the PR FAA (for apparently
purely political reasons) has now restricted VAL and Air Flamenco to doing
charter flights only to Culebra....laying off 100 employees in the process.
Gosh...this will be our 10th year and every flight we've ever taken has
been full to the brim!

I flew VAL round trip for $130pp. I believe they have jumped through the FAA rules and are back to normal flying like they used to. I would give them a call.

Good afternoon,
VAL is flying x4 scheduled flights daily & x3 on Sundays.

FLA is still charter, but I have heard that by March or April will be doing scheduled flights (hopefully), so you should CALL (not email) them.

Culebra Air has a small charter plane (3pax) which is less expensive than larger charters.

My wife & I also arrive at SJU around 1 p.m. VAL flights that afternoon are sold out. Are you still interested in a charter? If so, do you know what the price per person would be? Thanks, Mike
