Emergency Info needed please
Culebra, Puerto Rico

My friends and I were planning a small bachelor party and were wondering how are the conditions on Culebra, specifically on Flamenco's beach side. Given the news and the flood warnings for the island that were given early this morning. We were wondering if the weather conditions were still optimal for a camping trip to Flamenco Beach. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advanced! and Merry Christmas!

It is windy, cold and has been raining pretty hard all day today. At Flamenco yesterday, the swells were coming in fast and hard and from all different directions; it is not suitable for swimming or snorkeling, and in fact, the beach was red-flagged (indicating dangerous conditions). I don't know what the campground looks like today, but it was fine yesterday. The roads are running hard with water; I can't imagine it's very pleasant at the campground.

Happy Diving!
Debbie
