An Odd Post
Culebra, Puerto Rico

Hi Everyone:

I am terribly excited about my upcoming trip to Culebra, as anyone should be!!

In four weeks, or thereabouts, I will be on your fabulous island.

What makes this "An Odd Post" is that I am curious if anyone has any vintage Barbie, Cher, Farrah, Planet of the Apes, GI Joe, etc. dolls that they would like to sell while I visit?

LOL......at least I didn't ask how to get to or from the island....and at least I didn't ask how to rent a car and at least I didn't ask where to stay for two people.

Please, go through your closets, and ask residents sans internet, if they have any cool dolls that have been laying around and would rather make a few dollars than have them collect dust.

Most Sincere,
Rob Breeden :-)

Hola! There was a Flea Market that was just held on October 2 in Culebra. Maybe there will be another one during your stay n the island. There are various flea markets on the main island were you can probably find that type of item your looking for. You might try the various flea markets , open Saturdays and Sundays at the entrance to the San José sector off Barbosa Avenue in Hato Rey. Bayamon has a somewhat classier flea market in the Rexville sector, off route 167 between Bayamón and Naranjito. By far the largest of all is located in Mayagüez, near the airport on Route 2. I've been to the one in Mayaguez. All sorts of things there. Also check out craigslist.com. There are all sorts of things for sale and even free in the Puerto Rico category.
Happy travels! J

Hola! Let us know of the ones you visit. Sometimes the old ones close and new Flea Markets pop up in other places. With the economy the way it is on the island, sales such as garage sales, moving sales and things for sale on Craigs List are showing up. One persons cast away is another persons treasure. Happy travels! J

I always liked the Salvation Army on the outskirts of Old San Juan. I furnished basically my whole place there!

Enjoy Culebra!
