Hi Sun Lovers
We are now back in upstate NY and the snow and cold.
Just back from a week on Culebra.
First time back in 9 years and glad to say Culebra is the same warm Loving place I last visited.

We stayed at Tamarindo Estates also known as Tamarindo Beach Cottages where I stayed many times in the 90's.
It was a joy to be back.

A big Plus sign is the couple Jose has running it now.

Karen and John have the place in order and are available if something is awry.
Thanks guys and glad to have met you, Scot & Lois.
There is a fast computer if you need to check email.
For those of the plug in drug persuasion they have satellite TV.

The snorkeling was amazing at Tamarindo Estates beach heading left towards town and especially nice around that point heading towards town/Melones beach.

Culebra also has upgrades; there are some infrastructure upgrades.
Spanking new eco friendly school.
Black top roads are a plus to the spine and kidneys.

The Costa Bonita Resort /Abortion is a scar on Culebra and does not belong there. I guess everyone agrees as it seems to be stillborn and dying before it gets off the ground.

Susie’s restaurant is great, two thumbs up. The tuna and mahi mahi were awesome.
At Mamacita’s: catch the conga music and great food.
The Dinghy dock: as usual good food on the bay and Amy Jo plays and sings as well, catch her if you can. Also go night sailing with Greg on his sporty trimaran.
Jorge has nice original island art in his small shop by Mamacita’s.
Great coffee and éclairs/baked goods at the Pandeli!!!!! Wireless internet for your laptop.
Please….Relax in Culebra.
It is five stars in our hearts but the infrastructure is on island time so go slow and soak in your time there.
Much Love for the island its people and our time there.
Scot & my incredibly lovely Loie!

Living well is the best revenge.
