Richard - what do you mean? You spent some time on it? Or someone making it?

Enjoy Culebra!

and I would add that too often when people use music it's can be obnoxious, but Salvador's is sorta hypnotic and soothing.

if the designer is reading these comments, I'd consider dropping the click noises on the mouse-overs.

otherwise...I esp. like the initial gradient yellow (as it appears on my screen)

A button to click the music off (unless I missed it, and I TRIED to find it!) would be nice...I found it annoying after the first 10 cycles ;) I'm still on dial up and it took a long time to see anything much.

I personally HATE music on websites. And considering most visitors come during office hours ... how embarrassing to let everybody know (let's hope it's not the boss) that you are definitely doing something other than work ;)

Enjoy Culebra!

Michael: headphones.

We generally load up our c drives with discs from home and swap music on the shared drive, so it's not considered unusual to be wearing them - low enough of course that you can hear someone call your name.

I'm still trying to figure out the over-the-shoulder view of the monitor, but I hear they're doing great things with fiber optics and eyeglasses...

Michael, I'm not touching your comment with a 10,000 miles ether pole!

My ideal computer screen is on the inside of my eyglasses. Keyboard is a glove (but then again what about the climates I usually like to live in ..) and yes I do wear headphones a lot of the time.

But I like to choose which music I listen to. Or while on the phone with someone (and keep working = looking at websites), I really consider it a major intrusion, especially wearing headphones.

That's just my personal opinion. Why I think it is bad design I mentioned before.

But I spoke to the owners of the site and did tell them, that a. I like the site, b. would lose the sound.

Enjoy Culebra!

Michael
