A couple of weeks ago, while waiting at the dock for the ferry to arrive, I listened to some great music being played by a D.J. Everyone loved it, and people were dancing the entire time. I also heard this same type of music throughout the day on my car radio. It was a very energetic style, and incorporated trumpets, trombones, and saxophones. Using my sketchy description, is there any way to find out what kind of music I might have been hearing? Salsa came to mind first, but when I listened to examples of salsa at amazon.com, it wasn’t the same. Thanks in advance for any help.
