Last Minute Trip?

Hi All,

I just wondered if anyone had thoughts on whether it would be possible to pull off a last minute trip to Culebra. My husband and I have an opportunity for a spontaneous vacation from Jan 5th-13th, and I've been emailing different places about reservations without success so far. Should I keep trying, or is it unlikely to find accommodations at this late date? We already have a place to stay on Vieques, so I could just stay there, but I really wanted to try to reach Culebra.
