We are trying to decide on a place to stay for our visit iin July. Does anyone have any information on Club Seaborne or Bahia Marina? Have considered Costa Bonita but have read some negative reviews about poor management, etc.Thanks in advance

Susan, please check out newly renovated Casa Mango in the shelter section under $$. The property has onsite caretakers, Angel & Anna, that can pick you up and take you anywhere on the island. Call Angel @ 787 505 2246. David

I have stayed in some of the mentioned above, Bahia Marina & Club Seabourne are very high priced. If I have the money I'll go Club Seaborne, it is compatible with Culebra's nature.
My choice will always be Villa Boheme, good prices, family atmosphere, owners are there most of the time, clean and well located.

Check out Villa Flamenco Beach. Don't confuse it with Culebra Beach Villas next door. This place was fabulous! The owners are wonderful, the place is really clean and the beach it sits on is spectacular! We couldn't have picked a more perfect place. Just got back last night and miss it already. We rented a jeep from Jerry's and he was great too. The people of Culebra are really friendly and nice. We loved the island and are already planning on returning next year. Bahia Marina looked nice if your interested in a more resort type looking atmosphere.

It sounds like you may be looking for a more resort-ish place (Seabourne or Bahia Marina, from what I hear). I was there in April and stayed at Villa Boheme for 6 nights and it was fabulous. It is very close to town, something that we loved--because ultimately you'll probably take taxis or drive to all beaches anyway, so it's nice to have at least something in walking distance. Rooms are somewhat plain, but clean, and the outside deck is amazing.

Flamenco Beach is beautiful and of course a can't miss, but don't forget the others too! Our favorite was Zoni.
