safe to go?

A friend and I are going to be visiting next month....and she mentioned a crisis going on in PR right now, and it concerned about our stay on Culebra. Can anyone shed some light on this if they know what I may be talking about.

Ok, I got more info. She mentioned an economic crisis with the possibility of the government shutting down which means the ports would shut down. No ferry? Gawd, I hope this does not happen

I saw an article in the paper this week that the government needs to pass an emergency spending bill to keep operating. We are supposed to go to Culebra in June and are just keeping our fingers crossed for now that they will work it out.
