I will be on Culebra for 6 days in April and then on the way home in SJ for 3 nights. So far the most affordable, available, and supposedly not sketchy place I've found is the Caleta Balcony Rental. Does anyone have any experience with this? It is $90/nt. I would really like to stay in Old SJ but if there is a good deal somewhere else, that is still safe, I'm willing to try it. My dilemma is whether to book the Caleta or not. Once you book, you have to pay a non-refundable deposit (in our case, about $75). Any advice is appreciated!
