New High Speed Ferry Info
Culebra, Puerto Rico

For those of you who are looking for transportation, I just talked to the High Speed Ferry company this morning. They are waiting on a government contract of some type, and if they get it they will not be running regular transport until January 22nd. If they do not get the contract they will start again tomorrow. They are supposed to know which by this afternoon. They did say they would send me an email with the answer this afternoon, so I will pass it on when I get it. If anyone else knows anything about it please let me know as I am arriving January 6th, and still haven't made plans to get from San Juan to Culebra. Thanks Jean

Jean, thank you for keeping us posted! Maybe you could ask the contact you found there to post their news here? That would be sooo great :)

Enjoy Culebra!

Well they still haven't let me know what is going on, so I guess I'll fly unless I hear from them soon, and just pay for the extra luggage. I'll keep you posted if any new info and write to them for a post here when I get an email address. Jean

You don't need much for Culebra. Pack light, a bathing suit and a sarong are finge. :)
