I will be visiting in November (early nov) which should have less than average risk of hurricane. However, are most hotels hurricane resistant or do I need to find the first boat off the island when a hurricane arrives?
Also, do most places refund the hotel rate if the hurricane hits directly???

Dear Brian
I live in Puerto Rico and my suggestion would be to get off the Island and stay in a Hotel in Puerto Rico. Remember all supplys ( water, food, gas ect.)have to be brought in to Culebra. There have been problems before after a Hurican, when it took forever to get supplies to Culebra.
