fishing/boat rental
Culebra, Puerto Rico

We are staying on island from 4-1 though 4-9. Any suggestions on finding someone to split boat rental. My husband is a free diver and will be spear fishing ( this means deeper waters). Thanks for any input.

If you are going to deep waters that are at least two or three miles offshore, you'll need a good boat, and that kind of boat does not exist in Culebra.
That kind of boat can only be rented in St. Thomas, I mean this as you have expressed to be a serious diver.
I serve as captain to private boat owners who are serious divers, and beleive me, for that kind of dive you need a boat not less than 24 foot, of course with all the security equipment.
I want to mention that close to Cayo Norte, on the way to Cayo Ballena and Geniqui, we call that area the sharks expressway.
So bear in mind that detail.
