I just found this web site & I love it!. My husband and I are planning to go for the first time by the end of April and we are interesting in going fishing off the beach. Does anyone knows of any restrictions and also places to go fishing??. Thanks.

If you would like to learn about fishing in Culebra, there is a post made by the National Fish and Wildlife officer on the Culebra.org's forum:

Enjoy Culebra!

We are also interested in fishing from beach or shore. Is a license required for just recreational fishing? My main interest is to pass the time while my lady soaks up the rays.
Thanks for any help.

My husband and I went to Culebra last December and he was able to fish when we went to Flamenco Beach. The security personnel at the entrance of the beach told my husband which were the appropriate places to fish (at any of the two extremes of the beach). My husband went fishing three days in a row and was able to catch a lot of fish.

No...you don't need a license to fish in PR.

HAve fun!!!,

NElly
