Sailboat Captain

We are looking into the possibility of parking our Morgan 45' in Culebra and wondered if anyone could recommend someone we could get to keep an eye on it while we're not there.

Thanks!
Tom

Hello I would like to know when do you plan on visiting Culebra and what would the dates be when you are looking for someone to watch your boat for you. Also I see that your e-mail address is Saratoga--is that in upstate NY?

Yes Saratoga Springs is in Upstate New York.

This would be a semi permanent arrangement. So essentially the boat would possibly be there all all year round with us coming down now and again to vacation on it.

Tom, the best idea is to find someone when you are there. Plenty of captains and(or!) capable guys to watch your boat. It's a very personal thing to have your boat watched and I suggest you ask around in person and get a feel!

Enjoy Culebra!

Michael

Hello-we are located in Glens Falls NY-in the process of moving to Culebra as we have been going to the island for over 12 years. Think this might be something that would work out nicely for you. If the time frame matches up for us both. Would give you the chance to meet us and we could discuss some of the options that would be benificial for what you are looking for with your boat. Look forward to talking futher with you about this idea!

Jim and Mary,

We are in Princeton, my family has been going down there since the early nineties and we have a place out toward Zoni. We know some very trustworthy and capable people on the island who watch and care for houses, boats, etc. Feel free to contact me offline at "peloso at gmail dot com". For what it's worth I also grew up with a camp on Loon Lake and it's still very much a part of our family's traditions, as is bacon and brats from Oscars!!

We will be down the first week of April if you want to look us up.

Best,
Drew
