Plan my Culebra stay
Culebra, Puerto Rico

Help! I have 24 hours on Culebra. We fly in around 6pm on a saturday, we have all day Sunday and leave early on a monday. What and how much can we see in a full day?(Keep in mind we have 2 adults and 2 kids - ages 8 & 11)

Ideally, I would love to hit Culebrita in the a.m. then hit Flamenco for lunch and swimming and Lastly, snorkel and see the turtles in the afternoon at Tamarindo. Does this sound feasible? Should we rent a jeep or golf cart to get around? Or, should we just rent a boat & captain for the day to take us around?

How often do taxi's run back and forth to culebrita? Do you have to schedule them in advance or can you just spontaneously take one? And, where do they leave from? Is it possible to spend just an hour or two Culebrita in the morning then hit a few other beaches in the afternoon on Culebra?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Your plan is the craziest I have heard so far! Not neccessarily bad, but very 'unculebrense' ;)

Enjoy Culebra!

If I were you I would just do Flamenco for swimming and lunch, then walk over the hill and snorkel Carlos Rosario and/or Tamarindo in the afternoon. Save Culebrita for another time when you can stay longer.
