to explain: as a temp thing I just did a stint in a stateside grocery store recently and am expunging what I saw as I muttered re-shelving things.
ehh forget the xBox, swimming at night (among turtles?), the stars, camping out after a day of physical activity will probably make breakfast the more challenging part than the evening's entertainment. tell stories, make them make up stories. I made myself do that last year when my eyesight was so bad I couldn't read anymore. tell them about your time at their age, ask about theirs. don't make it into a "purposeful" talk. leave that behind.
xbox and the DVR will be there when you get home and are busy.
