Hi all,
I am getting very excited for an upcoming trip to the island in a couple of weeks...camping at Flamenco, swimming, snorkeling, relaxing, hiking, and exploring!! I am wondering if there are any issues with theft in the campground during the day when leaving tent/gear unattended to go off exploring (will not have a car to lock things in). Any special safety concerns for women traveling solo?
I am getting mixed info regarding whether camping reservations are required/necessary. Tips? Haven't had luck getting through via telephone yet...will keep trying though!
Also, do the busses run or are taxis generally available into the evening hours? Wondering about logistics in terms of being able to go to town at the end of the day and still get back out to the campground after dark (not super late...maybe returning 8-9 or so.).
