I saw somewhere on this site about Willy taking people to St. Thomas for the day. Does anyone know how long it takes and what kind of a boat Willy uses?

Thanks............is there any other way to get there without going to San Juan?

You need to go through customs to go to St. Thomas from Puerto Rico, so I doubt that anyone will take you 'for the day', unless they are a big outfit. And it's not going to be cheap ..

Of course, we all have gone without checking in or out, but I would never admit it ;)

Enjoy Culebra!

I went with Willy for the day a long time ago. He has a different boat now but I do not know what it is. he took four of us over for the day. It took ~45 minutes to get there as I recall. We had to come back by 5:00pm to clear customes. He was able to do that over the phone so we didn't need to physically check in at customs. He stays over there for the day waiting for you. I don't have a number for him but someone else on this site might and you can call and ask him. And it's not cheap. Gas costs a lot more now and it's a day of his time. And you need your passport to clear back into Culebra.
