First Visit on Boat
Culebra, Puerto Rico

Glad we came across this forum! We've been sailing in the St John/BVI area for years and decided that on this upcoming trip we will spend a few days on Culebra. We plan to be there @ October 24th - 28th weather permitting.

Any suggestions on "must do" places to see while we are there? Best places for snorkling, anchorages to visit, places to eat, etc? We prefer quiet spots that are less populated.

Thanks in advance!

Most anchorages have mooring balls - use them! They are free and have made a tremendous difference in preserving and reestablishing bottom and reef life!

Depending on your dinghy range, I would go to Dakity or what's referred to 'Manglar' in http://www.islaculebra.com/culebra-maps/attractions.php

Depending on swell conditions the S/W side of Culebrita is a great place to anchor for the day and go snorkeling to the E.

Enjoy Culebra!
