I've noticed a few people make mention of sewer construction in town, how extensive is it? Is it just an annoyance or is it something to be reckoned with (I mean given how few streets there are in the first place, if one's closed...). I'm also curious about the rendering of the new ferry plaza I saw on someone's site, is that in progress, complete or a distant possibility?

When I was there in December, the new ferry landing was well on its way and a temp dock was in use for daily transport. The construction in Dewey was more nuisance than major hassle ... but we were there right before the kick into "full season". The "nuisance" part is largely during work hours which is when - if you have any sense - you should be at your beach of choice. At night when we came in for happy hour / dinner, it no real concern.
