Hi all! I'm brand new to the site and am so happy to have found it. I'm planning my and my boyfriend's first vacation together and I've fallen in love with the idea of camping on Playa Flamenco. This is his first trip to the Caribbean, so I wanted somewhere authentic, rather than the resort type deal. Everything sounds just perfect! My only concern: Although it's a very safe island, I'm a bit concerned about leaving money and passports in my tent. Is this an issue? Is there anywhere to store these items safely while we're not on our site? We'll be on bike and foot, so locking it up in the car is out.
That's my only real concern. I'm sooooo excited and looking to book in the next day or 2.....bikinis are already out of storage! Is Culebra really as perfect as it looks????
