I think you'll be finest kind, locking your bike with whatever you have, to the posts at the outside edge of the campground. i lock up my bike with a pretend-lock system, and no one has ever touched it. As long as you're aware of upcoming traffic, i don't think you should feel particularly endangered on your bike. Where in the world can you feel 100% Ok about traffic coming up behind you, after all? Wear a helmet and be savvy...and enjoy the scenery!!
