flight at 2pm, culebrita half-day worthwhile/doable?

Hello all,

Looking for your advice; thanks in advance...

We've been to Culebra before (and we love it!), but never Culebrita. The only day we could go would be on the day we're leaving Culebra on a 2pm flight.

Are we better off just snorkeling off the beach at Carlos Rosario or Melones, etc., or would a morning boat trip to Culebrita for some snorkeling be feasible and worthwhile? If it would be too short a trip, or too much of a rush, we'd probably just leave it for another visit.

Thanks for reading!

- Steve

Personally, I wouldn't spend the 45 dollars per person unless the water taxit could pick you up by 7am. and have you back before noon. Hardly worth only spending a couple of hours on beautfiul culebrita. The baths alone are worth a bit of your time...
I would snorkel Carlos Rosaria..go early spend the morning snorkeling come back to the beach for a quick bite to eat and one last swim in one of the most beautiful beaches. Just my opinion. Though I guess if you have never been to Culebrita you shouldn't miss it...see if someone will take you early. I know one time we met our ride at 7am and told him to come back the very last possible moment which was 5pm. WE loved it.

There is no such thing as a bad vacation. Some are just better than others.
