Hi Everyone,
I'm considering a trip to Culebra in late May, early June and have found this web site VERY helpful. But like many I have some specific questions I'm hoping some of you can help with. Thanks!
- Does the ferry from Fajardo take cars, or is it just a passenger ferry?
- We want to teach our 5 year old to snorkel on this trip, what locations would you recommend for beginners?
- Conversely, my wife and I are avid snorkelers, where would we find more challenging or diverse stuff to see?
- Can we find child care for our 1.5 and 5 year old boys, maybe at the beach so we can snorkel together or at night so we can have dinner alone one night?
- I see there are dinghy rentals, are there other boat rentals that could be used to explore outside of Ensenada Honda? Like can you rent a boat to go to the outer islets?
- Finally, are there any surf spots on the island you'd be willing to share about? I don't expect any waves in May/June, but just in case I'd like to know where to go. And I don't mean basic beachbreak, I'm wondering if there are any reefs or points that work?
Thanks a lot for any info. I may have more questions, but so far Culebra looks like a great place to bring the family.
-John
