It'd help if you could pin down the specific grocery/bakery you mean. The Panaderia by the airport carries a few grocery items. Colmado Milka, just across the drawbridge, to the right, is a block from El Eden, which sells fresh breads and pastries. Suprette Mayra is a half block from Pandeli bakery. As I recall, they all had abbreviated hours on Christmas eve, but hopefully a resident can give a more authoritative answer, once we know which store you mean.
