Hello all,

Are there trees/shaded areas by Flamenco Beach? Does anyone know how much is the typical rental is for an umbrella?

Thank you very much,

Daniel

When I was there in March you could rent an umbrella for $10.00 a day. They will carry the umbrella for you and set it up (they use an auger to set the umbrella deep in the sand which is necessary to keep it from blowing away).

A day's rental lasts until 5:00pm, but our guy came and collected it around 4:15.

Enjoy your trip!

There is also plenty of shady spots to the left side of the beach, up under the trees. You're actually still on the beach, but undercover. We find it easiest to walk on the path behind the beach, along where the camping area is, until you feel like banging a right and walking onto the beach.

Plus as an added benefit, nobody comes and takes the trees away at 4:15pm.

The trees Frank mentions are sea grapes, and I've waited out a downpour underneath them, on Zoni, staying somewhat dry.

There is a shady area with picnic tables near the campground entrance, very close to the beach.

The area in front of the camping area (that Frank mentioned) where the grape trees are at also has tables in it.
