I found the following in the calendar of events at http://www.gotopuertorico.com/ :
Turtle-watching season - Culebra. During the turtle season you can arrange with private tour operators to observe the turtles as they come ashore to lay eggs. 787-742-1033, 787-510-0019CL, 787-742-1045FX.
Is it really possible that someone does this kind of tours? I called the first number, got voice mail, left a message. Still waiting. At the second number the lady told me to call the third number. The third number was a fax.
Can anyone have any idea about who might own these numbers or who may be offering this kind of tours?
I know about the P.R. Natural Resources volunteer opportunity, and I'd love to help instead of having a tour, but I don't feel like bothering about looking for a shelter for the rest of the night (we'll stay in Puerto Rico), and I thought that may be with a tour it's easier to solve this problem...
